I've been trying to motivate myself into picking up running again, which has gone about as well as can be expected when one considers that I live in 3 houses over the course of an average week and I'm working the first half-term of my new teaching job.

But I digress.

From Monday, I'm finally going to get my butt into gear and start running. It's silly thinking of it as a chore, when the actual running side of it I really enjoy (even when it's cold - less so when there's rain). Besides, I would like to get fit so in the new year I can start CaniX training with one/some of sister's dogs. I think that'll be a great laugh.

Plus, I'll have more energy again. And maybe my pants won't be as tight, LOL.

I've joined a gym, helish place that it is. So you can run and I can do... whatever the fuck it is people do there besides stare at the mirrors and flex.

What do you do at the gym? How are you finding it? I'm thinking of joining a kickboxing class ...

I have gone one day, I do whatever the trainer tells me to do, I don't hate it nor like it yet. I sound super unenthusiastic but sports have never been my thing. I'll grow to like it I'm sure but so far it's just boring. On the plus side I finally know my height and weight which I never bothered to find out?

Ooo, a trainer would make everything so much easier. You would just have to turn up. They could do all the thinking for you. OMG.

Glee-related: are you still a bit tender so that you can't read ghostlanx? Cos there's a whole AU meta-fandom springing up behind it that seems to wallow in canon-denial. :)

I need to buy one of those strap bracelets for my ipod because I can't bear the boredom otherwise.

I've assimilated the canon (differently than 95% of the fandom it seems) so I've gone back to tentatively read fic this week. It took less time than I thought but I can read almost everything now. So yeah, I've caught up with Rainjoy and the Ghostlanx pahndom.
