What titles do you like best? Short, long, lyrics?

What are your thoughts on third person unlimited?

Hmmmm, the longer the better for me usually. Give me a 50k+ epic with good characterization, writing and plot and I'm as happy as I can be.

Shorter fics are awesome too of course. I generally avoid fic of less than 1000 words unless the summary really calls out to me or it's been recced.

I don't pay that much attention to titles but the longer ones are usually the ones that stick with me.

And I like third person POV. Dunno if that's the proper name. Think Harry Potter which was narrated in the third person but from Harry's point of view.

Good thoughts are good. I like your advice about titles. Will keep it in mind. But what do you think about chapter titles?

Good in books, pointless in fics. And even in books they're a waste of space.

I do like books and (long) fics to have chapters, though. Good way to know when to rest my eyes.

Awesome. At least I don't have to sit and think of chapter titles too. I still haven't sorted out the main title.

"You and Your Fuck Awful Timing", "The Whore of Babylon Was a Really Nice Girl", "Next Time I Will Remember This and I Will Say No". Titles like those always stick with me. So much easier to search your bookmarks later too.
