Blaaaagh. Yesterday I walked to pub and back (40 mins each way), got to sleep at 1am, woke at 3am freezing to death, finally got back to sleep, up with the alarm at 7.30 and then again an hour later.
I was not in a running mood.
To my credit, I didn't even consider not going. I just knew it would be awful.
I can say that the short spurts on flat ground are a lot easier than they were two weeks ago. Today, however, was the first 3-minute jog. And it hit on the hill.
OMG. Just ... eugh.
Did the whole jog. 3 minutes is a slog but I think on Wednesday I'll be better. Probably going to repeat this week just to make sure my legs are up to snuff for the 5-minute intervals in Week 4. Meep!
