Eep! *blushes* (+ fic)

I have fallen, and fallen hard, for this guy *points to icon*. Merlin is probably the most awesome show EVAR. It has twice the amount of 'subtext' (HA) as just about everything except Queer as Folk (maybe), with more swashbuckling than Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and all the gleeful bantering of a really good Supernatural episode but without any filler whatsoever. Okay, so it's not 'deep', really, though it could be if it wanted to. But it doesn't want to! It is well aware that it is a teeny tiny BBC Wales production, about an overdone and really creepy (and weirdly Welsh-French hybridic - new word) legend, and takes great pains to be just about as historically anachronistic as possible. 6th century Severn potatoes, FTW!
