My equivalent of a bad day

Today has been a bad day, by my standards, which isn't really bad at all and I am mostly just suffering a patch of emo.

Six hours at work: fine, no complaints there. Then I came home.

The house was empty, as it was last night. It was just me, my computer, and the cat. I made myself rice with curry sauce, because I'm trying to save money by not grocery shopping until next payday and so have nothing to put in the curry sauce. I watched Wales lose the Six Nations by the barest margin. I talked to shei on MSN. I have a headache.

This is the sum of my evening.

I'm 22 years old. I have no friends in the area. I've never had a boyfriend. I am overweight and underpaid. I need new trousers, salad stuffs, and car repairs. I am in credit on 1 out of 3 cards for the first time in two months, but only just.

I just. I'm feeling a little bereft, is all. I could have done with a friend in the flesh tonight.
